Idlearth is the place where my thoughts, music, art, everyday conquests, daily to-do lists,rants,writing, random ramblings, pictures, travels, jokes, pleas for help, inspiration, videos, advice, and prayers come to die. Or maybe live. I really hope that this little slice of the internet epitomizes the way I think and the person I am.

My name is Moni.

I am 16 years old.

I recently just moved from Maryland to Florida… and found out recently that I am moving back to Maryland.

My parents are divorced.

My dad is getting re-married and I will have a new 6 year old step brother.

My top school choice in Columbia, and I want to major in English and have a minor in art. 

When I grow up, I want to teach English to kids in foreign countries.

I have an older sister who is 20 and an older brother who is 22.

I am straight.

I used to be very religious, but I am not anymore. I am not an atheist, but I surely don’t believe in religion or what it stands for. Actually I am a bit confused at the moment.

My favorite color is olive green.

I am an advocate for gay—human rights.

My favorite television shows include Dexter, True Blood, Glee, Smash,  Breaking Bad,  Sex and the City, The Legend of Korra and Avatar, Gossip Girl, Skins, Awkward, Pretty Little Liars, and Shameless.

I love Border’s bookstore and was really sad to see it close down. My dad and I went to Borders all the time, it was my childhood and drove my love of books.

I am 5’ 8”. and a half.

I am singer, it’s something I have loved to do all my life.

I like films, any kind. Besides suspense and horror. Gore I can do. My favorite films include Joy Luck Club, The Social Network, Atonement, Amelie, Speak, A Single Man, Eat Pray Love, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Edward Scissor Hands, I Love You Phillip Morris, Shame, District 9, The Hunger Games, Across the Universe, Avatar, The Twilight Movies (sue me), Memoirs of a Geisha, Inception, Take this Waltz, and the Help. (And many others.)

Some of my favorite bands/musicians include Coldplay, Queen, Barcelona, Muse, the Beatles, Kimbra, Mr. Hudson, Coldplay, Beyonce, Ingrid Michaelson, Sam Cooke, Maroon 5, John Legend,the Kooks, Vampire Weekend, Frank Ocean, Tribalistas, Justin Nozuka, Coldplay, Ratatat,U2, Kanye West, Maria Mena, fun., Coldplay, Lykke Li, the Temper Trap, and Coldplay.

I love soccer; FC Barcelona is my favorite team.

I am an artist. Been very serious about it since the summer of 2011, I have improved so much (it’s embarrassing actually.)

I am trying to not only develop a global awareness, but also an opinion too.

I play the violin, and started learning how to play the piano.

I am extremely aware of myself, and my surroundings. Not self-conscious, just always so wired. It’s horrible and perfect at the same time.

I am pretty open-minded when it comes to who I’ll date. I do not stop by the limitations of race.

I really like Youtube, and internet culture.

I currently attend an art high school.

I am evolving.
